Disclaimers*

Pet Owner agrees to board for the dates arranged between The Dog's Den and the pet owner. Boarding costs will be paid in full to Danielle or Cody Schmitt when pet is picked up. Nonpayment will result in legal action if unpaid at time of pick up, additional charges may be included depending upon when payment is met. I understand that by waving my chance for a meet and greet may result in additional charges if my dog is disruptive, destructive, or aggressive for Danielle/Cody while they are in their care. Result in any said behavior could terminate business with The Dog's Den. Danielle and Cody agree to feed pet based on pet’s current schedule and give pets any medication as long as they are provided, along with instructions given at time of drop off. Pet owner agrees to provide food and flat buckle collar, (toys/bed/blankets optional) upon drop off. The Dogs Den will not supply or be responsible for providing food for your dog. The Dog's Den will exercise pet daily, Dogs must be up to date on all vaccinations with records provided at time of drop off for new pet parents as well as updated shots for current dogs. Lapse in vaccinations will terminate any business between Danielle/Cody and pet owner until proof of updated vaccinations are presented to Danielle/Cody. The Dog’s Den has the right to decline any service to the Pet owner at any time. The Dog’s Den hours vary on availability. Pet owners agree to drop off and pick up pet at the time agreed between Danielle/Cody and pet owners. Boarding cancellation policy: **Cancelation Policy —▸48 hours + — 100% Refund ▸36 hours or less — 50% refund Daycare cancellation policy: **Cancelation Policy less than 12 hours notice- full daycare charge. **Special accommodations $45: I.E. puppies 12 - 16 weeks, non crate trained (potty accidents, destructive behavior), wound care, excessive medication, and specific feedings, aggressive behavior towards us or other dogs, solo let outs. During the time the pet is in the care of Danielle/Cody, The Dog’s Den is not liable for any sickness, disease, theft, death, disappearance or injury which may be suffered by the pet. This includes but is not limited to any personal injury or disability the pet may receive while in the care of Danielle or Cody Schmitt. If you had to bring your dog to a vet 48 hours before planned drop off due to illness, you will have to reschedule/cancel your dog’s stay. If you bring your pet, you are liable to pay any vet fees for another dog that may be associated with your dog’s illness. Pet owner is responsible for paying any and all damage to the facility (home, crate(s) and or yard) that exceeds the normal “wear and tear”. Pet owner agrees to re-sign contract when vaccinations expire if changes have been made to acknowledge that they still agree with the terms and conditions said by Danielle/Cody. If pet parent feels like there should be any changes to contract, Danielle/Cody and pet owner will discuss at time of said occurrence. I understand that in the event if my dog were to pass away within the care of The Dog’s Den, Danielle/Cody Schmitt are not liable and will still receive payment for dog's care while in Danielle/Cody's custody. The Dog’s Den will contact pet parent as soon as the event is identified. The Dog’s Den will hold deceased dog for no more than 8 hours after death/notification to pet parents. Transportation to designated vet or crematorium may be arranged if requested by pet owner for additional cost. Customers are responsible to all attorney fees in full for any invoice that is unpaid/late.

A completed boarding contract is required (and on file) before your dog’s first stay. Shot records are needed before their first stay (rabies, Bordetella and Distemper is required, Lyme’s is preferred)

We offer small groups for the most play. We strive to make your dog’s stay with us a pawsitive one, regardless on the length of stay! You can even watch them play with pictures and videos posted daily.

Located in a quiet country setting, our small, clean and safe in-home dog boarding is exactly what you need. No stress for you and no stress for your pet! We have multiple pools available and several large fenced areas for them to play. You can customize their stay by adding training, grooming or added walks. We guarantee your dog will get lots of play time and limited crate time.

*We chose our drop off and pick up times carefully. It is pertinent for the concern of the dogs that the times listed are adhered to. Fees will apply to those who come outside of our standard available drop off/pick up times.
*$25 fee will be applied if pickup/dropoff outside of standard hours

Food
To avoid any upset stomachs due to a change in diet, we ask you to bring their food that will accommodate their entire stay.
Beds & Blankets
You are welcome to bring along items like a bed or an extra blanket that may make your pet’s stay more comfortable.
Medications
All medication must be brought in the prescription bottle or original packaging along with pill pockets if your dog will not eat them with their food.
*Additional charges will apply if The Dog’s Den supplies the pill pockets.
Collar and Leash
You are required to have a flat buckle collar. No prong/choke chains are allowed after arrival. We kindly request you take leashes home with you to minimize the risk of misplacement.

Toys
Please limit your pet’s toys to 2 (two) that are safe for unsupervised play.

Yes, they can! Dogs from the same household can often share a kennel if small enough! We prioritize their well-being, considering size, breed, and whether they eat comfortably together in new environments.
We closely monitor all guests and may separate them if needed for a stress-free stay. Even familiar companions can get overwhelmed in unfamiliar places.
** It is important to note that our boarding fees are per pet. While a shared kennel can be an option, caring for two pets together requires extra attention to ensure their individual needs are met.
No there is not a discount applied to both dogs sharing a kennel. To ensure we can meet the individual needs of all our pet guests, our boarding fees apply to each pet.
While sharing a kennel can be a great option for your dogs, it sometimes requires extra attention. We also want to prioritize their comfort and compatibility throughout their stay. This means we might recommend a separate kennel if any concerns arise. This flexibility ensures a stress-free and enjoyable experience for all.
We require:
1. Proof of vaccinations from your pet’s veterinarian are required for all Boarding, Daycare and Grooming/Spa services.
2. We can only confirm reservations once we have up-to-date vaccination records on file.
3. Bordetella must be administered at least 2 weeks prior to your pet’s arrival.
4. All puppies must be 4 months of age and have completed their required vaccinations. Required vaccinations: • Rabies: 1 or 3 years • DHLPP: 1 year • Bordetella: 1 year (at least 2 weeks prior to arrival) • Canine Influenza Vaccine: highly recommended but not required at this time (subject to policy change)
Boarding is available 365 days a year. The following holidays require a minimum two day stay.

In order to avoid loss of a guest’s deposit, here are the cancellation policies:
Cancellation Notice: at least two days before the scheduled arrival date.
No-Show Charge: a minimum of one day will be charged.
Peak/Holiday Season:
Cancellation Notice: At least seven days before the scheduled arrival date.
